Welcome to Melbourne Femme. My name is Sarah Mitchell, and eight years ago I started this store here in Australia with a simple idea: to create a place where women could discover beautiful clothes they genuinely enjoy wearing. I have always loved fashion, but for me it has never been about following every new trend. I believe the best pieces are the ones that make you feel comfortable, feminine and confident the moment you put them on. What began as a small passion slowly grew into something much more meaningful than I could have imagined. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of seeing so many women discover Melbourne Femme and make our pieces part of their everyday lives. From relaxed afternoons and lunches with friends to holidays, dinners and special occasions, I love knowing that our styles become part of those moments. Eight years later, that feeling is still one of my favourite things about running Melbourne Femme.

That is why I have remained passionate about Melbourne Femme after all these years. Reaching our 8-year anniversary is incredibly special to me, because Melbourne Femme would never have made it this far without the women who have supported us along the way. There have been many lessons and changes throughout these eight years, but my love for what I do has only grown stronger. I still get excited about discovering new pieces and imagining how our customers might style and wear them.
